Update 4: If you start a company in Norway, you have to LOVE waiting

Nine days after we completed the digital paperwork to register our company, Long Covid Recovery AS, http://covidrecovery.co, we finally got a message from our bank:

"You can transfer the required funds now", bla bla bla, "and once you have, we'll send you your organizational number in a week or more".

I don't mind the rule that you have to transfer 30 000 NOK (2 500 EUR) to register a company in Norway as that money goes into your company's account for you to use. I mind the WAITING.

We've waited for nine days to get this email and we just transferred the money. Now we probably have to wait for nine more before something else happens.

Usually, waiting and building a company don't go hand in hand, but in this case you have no choice.

In Singapore, registering a company takes ONE DAY. In Norway, the process typically takes a month. Singapore are 30x faster than us! We can and should do much better.

Right now, the politicians are drinking wine and socializing at #Arendalsuka. How about at least one of you commit to speeding up the registration process so that it takes ONE HOUR to register a company in Norway in 2025?

Just do it.
